Step 1: Explore our curriculum topics
JASON offers several award-winning, standards-based curriculum units,
in print and online, each with 5-9 weeks of content. Learn more
about them here:

Step 2: Register for a free account and
try a new resource The online JASON Mission Center contains
student text, videos, games, teacher tools and more. Registration
is completely free, for educators and students.

Further explorations:
- Inside the JMC, click on the curriculum unit that interests
you and read a few pages of the student text - filled with highlighted
vocabulary and graphics that come to life on your screen.

- Visit the Digital Labs & Games page to explore our award-winning
educational games that are embedded in the curriculum.
- Browse by standard in JASON's Digital Library to find
resources that align to your state's standards.

Step 3: Attend a JASON Awareness Webinar
Sit back and let our dedicated staff give you a personal tour
through one of our free one-hour Webinars. We'll cover the curricula,
Web site, resources, professional development program and the philosophy
behind what sets JASON apart.

Step 4: Choose your Missions! How will
your classroom use JASON? Review the Operation Overview sheets
to plan how you'll implement JASON's curriculum chapters (Missions)
into your classroom planning.

- Download a curriculum sampler to try out a Misison's
arcticles and hands-on lab activities with your students.
- Visit the JASON Mission Center with your free account
and review any Mission in-depth, and even use them with your
students.

Step 5: Get training! The JASON Project
offers numerous training opportunities for educators. Our Lead Trainers
come to your district to conduct one-day or two-day sessions designed
to increase teachers' expertise in implementing inquiry-based science
curricula, such as JASON, in the classroom.

Step 6: Set up your online classrooms
Now that you're ready to begin teaching JASON, be sure to create
JMC accounts for all your students. You can also create virtual
online classrooms where you can give students online assignments
and review their work.

Step 7: Time to get started: Get your materials!
JASON curricula is available free online. However most
JASON teachers prefer to have at least one print copy of the Student
and Teacher Editions, along with our videos on DVD; preferably a
classroom set of Student Editions, which can be used year after
year. To order curriculum for yourself, your class, or your school,
visit our online store.
