Horses! Emily is a very passionate equestrian. She has horses of her own, works at a horse farm, and is a very active member of her 4-H club. She even worked on a veterinary science project where she had to log over 500 hours with a veterinarian. Through her experiences, she has become further resolved to be a veterinarian herself after college. However, after completing her mission with Mike Wise, studying pegmatites is now a possibility. While deep in the Amelia Mine she showed a deep interest in the rock and mineral formations she was able to study.

Emily was so inspired by her experience in the pegmatite mine that she proposed a game idea to JASON, which was developed into the online game MasterMines. Emily and Mike will be featured avatars in the game and will help players identify minerals from all over the world.
