Besides his interest in all areas of science, Connor is probably best known within the National Student Argonauts for his sense of humor. There were many occasions in the missions and during boot camp that Connor shared his hysterical outlook and observations on life. Often he had the students, teachers, scientists, and film crew smiling and laughing as he explored the mines and worked in the labs during his missions. Connor is home schooled in Traverse City, Michigan and enjoys the challenges and opportunities of meeting new people.
Connor volunteers his time and interests to many noteworthy efforts. For the past six years Connor ran an annual clothing drive for a local homeless shelter. He also works with dialysis patients utilizing Microsoft’s Flight Simulator through a program called Sky High Hope. Connor also serves as an advisor to Ranger Rick magazine.
