Energy Transfers and Transformations

In this activity, you will have the opportunity to analyze one of Rube Goldberg’s cartoons. Once you are familiar with his style, you will be challenged to create your own multistep machine that is based upon energy transfers and transformations. Then, you will apply these concepts to creating a desktop contraption that requires several energy changes in order to complete a task.
