Never had so much fun with the weather

In JASON Argo Boot Camp, I had many incredible experiences. These experiences included meeting new people, working with professionals, using high tech devices, using new equipment, and much more. All these experiences came together to create one of the best times in my life.

 

During JASON Argo Boot Camp, I met a lot of new people. These people aren’t just the Student Argonauts, but also the Teacher Argonauts and the other field workers. Meeting these people was amazing. We never had any problems with each other. We were like one big happy family.

 

Working wtih JASON professionals was also very interesting. I learned more in that one week han I ever have before, thanks to my work with these individuals.  I

learned about air temperature, water temperature, wind direction, wind speed, and dew point and how they are used to forecast weather. I also leaned how to compare thoughts and idea. The greatest benefit is that the knowledge I learned can be used in real life.

 

Friends

Technology is one topic that really interests me. In JASON  Boot Camp, I got to use many high tech devices. We got to use satellite images, probes, video conferencing devices, underwater cameras, side scanning sonar, snorkeling gear, and other devices. Using these types of high-tech devices got me even more interested about the topic of technology.

 

As you have probably noticed, JASON is a very rewarding experience. We got to experience many things most of us have never experienced before. Now as Argo Boot Camp ends, I can look back at all these memories and think to myself what a great time I had. I am very grateful to have been able to do this.
