Michael is a freshman at Saint Stephen's Episcopal School in Bradenton, FL. Biology was an interest of Michael's even as a young boy. He is fascinated by organisms and learning about their natural habitats, especially ocean life. As a certified diver since age twelve, Michael has had the opportunity to explore these organisms up close.

 

As Student Council president, Michael acquired the leadership and planning skills that will be useful during the Expedition. He competed in his county's science fair, receiving special awards from the Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps. In his spare time, Michael enjoys playing piano and competing in crew.
