As a teacher for gifted students at Lorna J. Kesterson Elementary School in Henderson, NV, and Bill Y. Tomiyasu Elementary School in Las Vegas, NV, Pam Locascio has five years of JASON experience. The curriculum captured and intrigued Pam and her students from the start. Pam loves the technology components incorporated by JASON in all the expeditions. Her passion for JASON is evident to her students and her colleagues. Pam teaches JASON curriculum implementation to teachers at district training sessions. She just recently presented JASON at the National Association for Gifted Children conference in Salt Lake City.
Along with serving on numerous committees at the local and district levels, Pam has recruited community volunteers as mentors for an after-school chess club that was spotlighted on a local TV station!
