Meera Gudavalli, a ninth-grade student at McKinney North High School in Texas, has loved learning about astronomy since she had to make a model of the solar system in the third grade. On her expedition with JASON, she is looking forward to learning new things and sharing her knowledge with other people.

 

Meera is talented and active in a number of programs. She has played piano for five years, has participated in the National Junior Honor Society at her school, and has volunteered for four years at the Multiple Sclerosis 150 Bike Tour. In addition, she is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
